If you haven’t heard of me, that’s okay. I’ll introduce myself. These are my pursuits.

To Earn a Living

My 9 to 5 calling is as a software engineer in Sydney. I untangle spaghetti code, add my own flavour and put the lid back on. I am adept in Python, formidable in Javascript, and exhibit irrational behaviours around Java. If I am doing a poor job in explaining this, please take a look at my resume . Currently facing strong bouts of imposter syndrome at Epoch Capital; It’s a cool place to work.

To not die of Boredom

I spend the odd weekend in my home office, read technical literature and sail the seas of the internet in search of gold. I haven’t struck it yet. My personal Github serves as an account of my personal quests. So far I have traveled to the archipelago of Data Science, been marooned in the island of nauseating React apps, and planted a flag in the free nation of ideas that tickle my brain.

In the real world, I enjoy working out while gazing in the mirror, optimizing my nutrition by watching Talon Fitness (blue-berries are S tier) and taking pictures of awe-inducing cityscapes and country-side.

To understand the World

I write after scooping out ideas from the crevices of my brain. For me, art is the curious arrangement of alphabets that elicits emotions. My central pursuit is understanding the creative process and when I am not day-dreaming, I go gaze at artifacts of history in museums with free entry. Like other mortals, I doom-scroll Insta and consume Youtube.
